Terms and Conditions for Day of Giving

• The Day of Giving is a fundraising campaign aimed at creating a positive impact within the KNUST community and beyond. It encourages individuals to contribute towards various causes and initiatives that benefit students, faculty, and the wider community.
• Donations made during the Day of Giving are voluntary and non-refundable. KNUST does not guarantee any specific outcomes or results from the donations received.
• All donations received during the Day of Giving will be allocated towards the designated causes and initiatives as determined by KNUST. The university reserves the right to determine the allocation of funds based on the most pressing needs and priorities at its discretion.
• KNUST ensures transparency and accountability in the handling of donated funds. The university will provide periodic updates and reports on the utilization of the funds and the impact created through the Day of Giving.
• Donors are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of their personal and payment information while making donations. KNUST will not be held liable for any errors or inaccuracies in the provided information.
• KNUST respects the privacy of donors and will handle personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws and regulations. Donors' personal information will only be used for the purposes of processing donations and providing necessary acknowledgments.
• The Day of Giving may include opportunities for volunteering, advocacy, or other forms of support besides monetary donations. Participants engaging in such activities are expected to adhere to the relevant guidelines and rules provided by KNUST.
• Participants are encouraged to spread awareness about the Day of Giving by using the designated hashtag #DayOfGiving on social media platforms. By doing so, participants grant KNUST the right to share and repost their content for promotional purposes.
• KNUST reserves the right to modify or terminate the Day of Giving event, including these terms and conditions, at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be communicated through official KNUST communication channels.
• Participants in the Day of Giving are responsible for complying with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations governing charitable giving and online activities. Any illegal or unethical behavior will result in immediate disqualification and potential legal consequences.
